The Federal Aviation Administration will host a virtual outreach and matchmaking event on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 8:30am through 12:00pm Central Time. The focus is to bring together the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center’s (MMAC) Program/Tenant Organizations and Small Disadvantaged Businesses and provide an opportunity to network and increase knowledge on FAA procurement opportunities within the MMAC. This event will have a focus on Small Disadvantaged Businesses, but all small businesses are welcome to attend. All firms should be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and be interested in pursuing procurement opportunities at the FAA MMAC located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The MMAC is home to the largest number of FAA employees outside the Washington, D.C. area. MMAC operates under the Office of Finance and Management (AFN) headquarters in Washington, D.C. AFN is responsible for providing, and streamlining the FAA's common business services through a
consolidated integrated approach. MMAC core (aviation safety) service functions include technical training (Air Traffic Controllers, Engineers, Technicians, and Flight Safety Inspectors) development and delivery, corporate outreach, emergency readiness, property management, facilities management and infrastructure support, centralized National Airspace System (NAS) logistics support, repair and overhaul as well as financial management, and information systems. Registration does not guarantee a one-on-one meeting with a Program/Tenant Organization but is required in order for a meeting to be scheduled. Matchmaking sessions will utilize Microsoft Teams.
