MBDvidia Enterprise Server Customization

This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract in accordance with (IAW) FAR 6.302-l(a)(2)(iii). The Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) at Patuxent River, MD, intends to solicit and award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract type for software customization for the existing MBDVidia Enterprise Server in order to ensure compliance with DOD STIGS.MBDVidia is a standalone software for MBD workflows focusing on CAD data translation and validation.An advanced handling of passwords for authentication to the MBDVidia Enterprise Server is required. This project will implement a method for passwords to be encrypted and remain encrypted at all times until reaching the server, ensuring IA compliance while still supporting the AvPLM integration and automation of STEP/QIF file generation afforded by the MBDVidia product.This Sources Sought notice is not a request for competitive proposals and does not commit the Government to award a contract as a result of this announcement.
