The City of Norfolk (“City”) is seeking a responsible vendor to provide a liquid oxygen storage and vaporization system (“LOX System”) through a lease agreement.BackgroundThe City uses hypolimnetic aeration in the Western Branch and Lake Prince Reservoirs (“Reservoirs”) to maintain raw water quality and treatability. The existing system has reached the end of its useful life and will be replaced with a free bubble oxygenation system (“FBO System”) as part of the Western Branch and Lake Prince Aerator Replacement Project.
