Scope of Work The project includes a Base Bid (Reconstruction of the Mid-Field Apron and West Public Use Apron), Additive Bid No. 1 (Reconstruction of the East Public Use Apron) and Additive Bid No. 2 (Construction of a Temporary Aircraft Parking Area). If the Base Bid and all Additive Bids are authorized the project will include grade correction milling of 2,200 SY of asphalt pavement, demolition of 175 SY of 2-inch thick asphalt pavement, demolition of 38,000 SY of 8-inch thick concrete pavement, Full-Depth Reclamation (FDR) of 18,900 SY of 1 1⁄2-inch asphalt on 8-inch limerock pavement, relocating an airfield lighted sign, demolishing 8 taxiway edge lights, demolishing two drainage inlets, abandon with flowable fill 111 LF of 2-6” ductile iron pipes and installing an airfield inlet and 102 LF of 18 inch Reinforced Concrete Pipe (Class V). The project also includes 11,390 Tons of new P-401 Asphalt, 42,870 SY of 8” P-219 Recycled Concrete Aggregate Base Course, installation of 156 new temporary three point tie-down anchors, installation of 324 new three point tie-down anchors (including reuse of temporary tie-downs), Magnetic survey before and after Compass Calibration Pad Construction, 19,050 SF pavement markings, 28,980 SY of 3” Turf Stripping, 1 acre of Seeding and 5,500 SY of new sod.
