Inactive Dried Yeast, Primary Grown

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Fruit Fly Rearing Facility, in Edinburg, TX  has a need for primary grown inactive dried yeast in accordance with specifications.   This product will be used in the production of sterile Mexican fruit flies. This procurement will be awarded as a commercial supply, firm-fixed-price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract, for a period not to exceed 5 years.  An estimated 350 (50-lb) bags or 17,500 lbs of Inactive Dried Yeast  is needed every 56 days -  about 6 deliveries per year.  Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.209-4 - First Article Approval - Government Testing.
