This is a market survey for a construction project titled: Multi-Purpose Building Renovation, Floors 1 - 3 at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, OK. The MPB Renovation Project will be a renovation of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors of the Multi-Purpose Building (approximately 152,000 sf). This project will be completed in one phase. Construction will include new seismic bracing to bring the structure up to current code requirements, updated restrooms, and updated finishes. New stair/elevator towers will be added on the exterior of the building. Floors 1-3 will be gutted and the new layout will be large, open spaces designed for a more collaborative work environment. The work will also include replacing air handler units, ductwork, plumbing and electrical work. The renovation is projected to take 30 months. The estimated price range for this project is $35-40 million. Award is projected for September 2019. Performance and payment bonds will be required in a penal
sum equal to 100% of the contract price. The proposal guarantee amount should be at least 20 percent of the proposal price and should not exceed $3 million. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from businesses, capable of providing the required construction services and are capable of meeting the bonding requirements. The NAICS code applicable to this requirement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The business size standard for this NAICS is $36.5 million. Contract award will be based on a Low-Price/Technically-Acceptable evaluation using Past Performance review standards. THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION SHALL BE PROVIDED BY INTERESTED VENDORS: 1. Capability Statement - This document should identify: (a) Type of services provided by firm, (b) Size and type of services provided by previous contracts (provide detailed information and past performance), (c) Number of years in business (d) Evidence of at least one (1) successfully completed construction project greater than $20M in the past five (5) years (provide detailed information and past performance), (e) Statement on Surety letterhead that vendor can obtain Payment and Performance Bonds for a project estimated at $35M 2. Completed Business Declaration Form, attached. Respondents must be active in the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov).
