Sealed Proposals will be received in the office of the Director of Administration, 209 South Main Street, Marysville, Ohio 43040 until 2:00 p.m., Local Time, on May 9, 2016 and publicly opened and read at that hour and place for the construction of: CITY OF MARYSVILLE MARYSVILLE UPGROUND RESERVOIR NEW BOAT RAMP AND FACILITY The project consists of the following: Installation of a new boat ramp and dock and expansion of the existing parking area to facilitate larger vehicles utilizing the reservoir for boating and fishing purposes Placement of approximately 10,000 CY of earthen embankment Necessary restoration (including seeding, erosion control, etc.) and other miscellaneous items required to restore the area to its original condition Via Alternate Bids, this work may also contain asphalt paving of the parking lot and access drive. without charge. Copies may be obtained from the City of Marysville upon a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 for each set of bid documents. The check is to be made payable to the City of Marysville. There will be a Pre-Bid Meeting held at City Hall, 209 South Main Street, Marysville, Ohio on April 27, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. Following the Pre-Bid Meeting, prospective Bidders are encouraged to inspect the project area and existing facilities. All formal bids shall be submitted using a set of bid documents purchased from the City of Marysville. Partial sets of Bidding Document will not be available. The City of Marysville will not be responsible for full or partial sets of Proposal Documents, (including any addenda) obtained from other sources. Bidders shall provide proof of qualifications, to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders, and complete the Best Bidder Information Form provided. Bidders shall comply with all statutory requirements in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All Bids must include payment of wages at prevailing wage rates pursuant to Ohio Revised Code (ORC), Section 4115-15 and shall comply with the provisions, duties and obligations of ORC Section 4115. Further information provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Each Bidder must deposit with its Bid, a Bid Guaranty in the form of either a bond for an amount of 100% of the Bid if in the form of a Bid Guaranty or in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid if in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, or irrevocable letter of credit, for and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders and pursuant with ORC Section 153.54, 153.57 and 153.571. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety.
