Service and Preventative Maintenance Agreement for Mission Critical Agilent Instrumentation

The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Natick Division, in support of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command – Soldier Center (DEVCOM-SC) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Agilent Technologies, Inc. located at 2850 Centerville Rd., Wilmington, DE 19808, under the authority as prescribed in FAR 13.106(b)(1). The requirement is for yearly preventative maintenance (PM) and service agreements for highly sensitive, mission critical Agilent instrumentation. In order for the Food Engineering and Analysis Team (FEAT) to continue providing accurate, verifiable, and repeatable analytical data for the external (DARPA) and DEVCOM-SC customers, the analytical instrumentation must receive regular maintenance and calibration which ensures optimal performance and minimizes the impact of instrument down time on testing and research productivity.This instrumentation is proprietary to Agilent Technologies, Inc. and can only be properly serviced by certified original equipment manufacturer (OEM) field service engineers or qualified non-OEM field service engineers.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 811210 and the size standard is 1,000 employees.THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS.
