***NOTICE to vendors - the requirement for "1 each Satellite Router" has been removed from the solicitation.***This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quote in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures.This synopsis/solicitation # W911YN-17-T-0050 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95 effective as of 19 January 2017.NAICS code: The corresponding NAICS code for this solicitation is 334220 "Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing" with a size standard of 1,200 employees.

Corresponding Product Service Code is 5820. An Offeror must be registered on the System for Award Management (SAM - formerly known as CCR) before an award could be made to them. If a company is not registered in SAM, they must do so by going to SAM web site (https://www.sam.gov) and registering prior to being considered for award by the Government. This requirement is being advertised as an unrestricted requirement with Full and Open Competition.One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements.The Government intends to issue a single, firm fixed-price purchase order so long as quantities are available from a single contractor. Documents supporting an equal item as discussed in 52.211-6 shall be included with the submission of your quote.Description of Requirement: 1 EACH AVL Model 1098 or Equal. The required system will operate strictly off of a commercial satellite provider; this will not access military satellites. The satellite system must be compatible with the current Florida National Guard provider, TrustComm, Inc, currently under separate contract. If quoting an equal item, the following salient characteristics must be met:1. 1.2 meter Ku-Band Case-Based Flyaway Mobile VSAT Auto-Tracking Antenna.2. ACU controller.3.
