SummaryVTA's light rail maintenance department is seeking a vendor who shall perform non-destructive testing (NDT) and inspection on Light Rail Vehicle Axles. The contractor shall perform Magnetic Particle Inspection ("MPI ") and Radial Ultrasonic Test ("UT") examinations of motor truck axles for VTA's LRVs to detect cracks and other discontinuities on or near the surface of the axle. The contractor shall issue a final report which shows the information on such findings. The contractor shall ensure there are no cracks in the parts before they are placed back into service. 2.
