The bidder agrees to substantially complete the work on the project before September 30, 2024 and agrees to pay as liquidated damages, one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) for each consecutive calendar day thereafter. Upon mutual agreement between the City and Bidder, the contract may be extended for up to one year at same unit prices with contract

Davis St. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety is required with each bid for those contracts that exceed $100,000. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Sulphur Springs or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond.
