Located on more than 600 acres only a few miles from Bangor, one of Maine’s largest cities, the University of Maine is a major resource not only for education but economic and community development throughout the state as well. 1.1.3 Purpose The University of Maine Facilities Management Grounds Shop is seeking responses to provide Packer Truck as defined in this document. This document provides instructions for submitting responses, the procedure and criteria by which the Respondent(s) will be selected, and the contractual terms which will govern the relationship between the University and the awarded Respondent(s). Respondents should review 1.1.4 Specifications / Scope of Work of this document to see the full Scope of Services/Products required. 1.1.4 Specifications / Scope of Work The University seeks a new model year 2022 or 2023 Packer Truck as specified in Appendix E – Unit Specifications / Description. The truck shall be delivered fully serviced, tuned up, fully fueled, wheels balanced and ready to go. All steps to assemble the truck with the listed items in Appendix E are the responsibility of the Respondent. Unit is preferred to be delivered Delivery of and invoice for the unit shall be after July 1, 2023 but prior to October 1, 2023.. 1.2 General Information 1.2.1 Communication with the University It is the responsibility of the Respondent to inquire about any requirement of this document that is not understood.
