This is a synopsis notice for a solicitation Direct Award to Brush Creek Ranch (CAGE 98P52), Firm Fixed Price (FFP). Soldiers assigned to Fort Riley's Soldier Recovery Unit, (SRU) are to take part in a therapeutic horseback riding program to be located within a fifty 50 mile radius of Fort Riley. The program provides instructors to help the Soldiers perform ground work, and learn horse safety and riding skills. The horses are trained for each participate based on each horse's size and temperament. The provider has been trained on how to provide therapeutic services to people with physical limitations and behavioral health issues. Horses reflect the behavior and mood of the people near them, which providesan emotional regualation benefit. The projected award will be for one base period and four option
