The United States Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with McCrometer, Inc. for McCrometer Flow meters, data loggers, and part kits under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b)(1)(i). McCrometer, Inc. is the only the McCrometer¿s NIST traceable test facility can calibrate and certify the McCrometer brand propeller meters and the only supplier of the integrally mounted data loggers for the McCrometer brand propeller meters which are needed to comply with Senate Bill 88 requirements. A sole source justification has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Specifications: 1) Flow Meter- a) Accuracy/Repeatability ± 2% of reading guaranteed throughout full range;±2% over reduced range; Repeatability of 0.25% or better. b) Impeller shaft is 316 stainless steel. Ball bearings are 440C stainless steel c) An instantaneous flowrate indicator and six-digit straight-reading totalizer are standard. The register is hermetically sealed with in a die
cast aluminum cases. This protective hosing includes a domed acrylic lens and a hinged lens cover with locking hasp. d) Propeller are manufactured of high-impact plastic, retaining their shape and accuracy over the life of the meter. 2) Data Logger- a) Max Pulse Rate 10,000Hz b) Memory 500,000 readings c) Report rate 1/sec-1/24 hours d) Battery Life 10yrs (depends on frequency/duty) e) Communication-IFC200Interface USB w/cable 3) Part Kits- a) Register b) Canopy Kit c) Diver Cable d) Cable Liner e) B1500 Retro f) Propeller Retest with Calibration Certificate This acquisition is being advertised under NAICS Code 334514, which has a size standard of 750 employees. This notice is not a request for quotes. Firms believing they have the capability to provide the above listed items must provide written notification to the Government point of contact listed below by no later than May 4, 2018 at 1300 pm Pacific Time. Responses shall include supporting evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements. All responses received by the due date will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
