The United States Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command - Yuma Proving Ground (MICC-YPG), intends to negotiate a noncompetitive Firm-Fixed-Price contract with Phillips Corporation, 7390 Coca cola Dr., Hanover MD 21076 to purchase one for the Maintenance Division Metal Working Branch at U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona Phillips Corporation Inc., Federal Division, is the sole and exclusive distributor of Haas CNC Machine Tools and any associated factory certified service, training and applications work for United Sates Government facilities. This includes any factory certified service-related contracts, maintenance agreements, training and applications work on Haas equipment. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 333517, “Machine Tool Manufacturing,” with the size standard for NAICS code 333517 is 500 employees. The Product Service (PSC) Code is 3417 “Machinery & Components Milling Machines”. Award for this requirement will be in

accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested person may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guarded information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed item. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
