Each pipe is 185’ in length. These pipes will convey compressed air that will require pipe seals that DO NOT interfere with the outside of the pipe. CIPP Liner construction must meet the minimum required conditions of normal operations listed below. Bid Submission: Bids are to be addressed to Town Manager, Town of Southbridge, 41 Elm Street, Southbridge, MA 01550. The deadline for sealed bids is 4/3/2024 at 10:00AM. The sealed bid shall be clearly marked “Aeration Pipeline CIPP - WWTP”. Late

bids will not be opened. Normal Pipe Operating Conditions:Pipe Temperatures not to exceed 140 degrees.Pipe Pressure does not exceed 10psi Pipe Configuration: (2) 10” DI pipe 185' in Length There are 2 sweeping bends in both pipes (22 Degree or less)We have access to both ends -1 side is in the basement of the building, 1 side is in the process tank (Will be a confined space entry). The Contractor will abide by all site safety requirements at all times when onsite; including: Pre-Clean & CCTV Inspection of 10” sanitary sewers Post-Lining CCTV Inspection Walk Through: The project location/details can be viewed at the WWTP located at 83 Dresser Hill Road, Southbridge MA, Monday-Friday between the hours of 7:30am and 3:00pm. Appointments are necessary, call 1-508-764-4927 to schedule. Required Work Schedule: The Town expects the work to proceed with every precaution in mind to prevent delays in completing the work. It is expected that the work will start and be completed within 3 consecutive workdays. (Monday – Friday 07:00am to 03:30pm, three consecutive workdays) The contractor can work long days if all parties agree. Working this option does not allow additional charges to be added to the project. Compliance Requirements: The Contractor will pay prevailing wage rates on this job per the approved schedule (ATTACHMENT A) which is part of this bid package and will submit certified payrolls and any other required forms to fulfill any/all Town and State requirements. 10 hour OSHA cards are required to be with all contractor employees working on the site. Copies of the 10 hour OSHA cards are required to be submitted to the Town’s project manager at the pre-start meeting and with the certified payroll for all contractor employees that work on the job site.The bidder will provide a 5% bid deposit with bid .
