is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought/RFI only. The purpose of this sources sought/RFI is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS code 337214 or (related). Responses to this sources sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. If your company is interested and are capable of providing the sought-out supplies/services, please provide the requested information as well as the information indicated below. Response to this notice should include company name, address, point of contact, size of business pursuant to the following questions: 1.0 GENERAL SCOPE The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) has a requirement for Behavioral healthcare furniture for VA Loma Linda, 2NE Mental Health Patient Rms 11201 Benton St., Loma Linda, CA 92357 that meets the specifications and high-quality threshold while integrating excellent environmental stewardship. This requirement includes Behavioral healthcare furnishings of bolted down beds and storage shelving. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and delivery. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS The contractor shall provide and be responsible for the technical assistance, development and generation for final specifications. Furniture delivery will be required in March 2022. Duty hours will be regular working hours 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The Government recognized US holidays are: New Year s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Juneteeth Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. If the holiday falls on Sunday, it is observed on Monday. The contractor shall: Order and arrange delivery of Behavioral healthcare furniture for Dining Room in quantities and specification noted on attached spreadsheet. Additional services include removal and relocation of existing (30) heavy duty armless chairs and (10) heavy duty bolted down tables to storage location on site. Design Contract Tasks/Requirements The contractor shall be responsible for providing all sample materials for awarded product (2-Day Delivery) as requested by VA Interior Designer. The product must not be placed into production without clearance from the VA COR. The contractor shall track manufacturing schedule and notify VA Interior Designer with updates of estimated completion date by email upon request. The contractor shall attend a post-delivery call to assess, address, and document any punch-list items and shall submit to the VA Interior Designer a remediation plan within 5 business days. The contractor shall provide 30 days free storage. Coordinate and provide project management of all products and services to manage, order, ship, and deliver new furniture from the manufacturer and move existing (4) furniture pieces to another location on site until final acceptance by the Contracting Officer Representative. Provide maintenance manuals for all products specified. The contractor shall provide 30 days free storage. 3.0 KICKOFF MEETING The prime contractor(s) shall participate in a kickoff meeting within ten (10) days of task order issuance by phone or in person at VA Loma Linda. Time and date will be determined by VA Point of Contact. Please indicate the size status and representations of your business, such as but not limited to: Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Hubzone, Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Large Business, etc. Is your company considered small under the NAICS 334310 identified under this RFI? Are you the manufacturer or distributor of the items being referenced above (or equivalent product/solution)? What is the manufacturing country of origin of these items? If you are a small business and you are an authorized distributor/reseller for the items identified above (or equivalent product/solution), do you alter; assemble; modify; the items requested in any way? If you do, state how and what is altered; assembled; modified? Does your company have an FSS contract with GSA or the NAC or are you a contract holder with NASA SEWP or any other federal contract? If so, please provide the contract type and number. If you are an FSS GSA/NAC or NASA SEWP contract holder or other federal contract holder, are the referenced items/solutions available on your schedule/contract? Please provide general pricing for your products/solutions for market research purposes.
