REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
RFP NO. EP20/21-25
BID OPENING THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2021 AT 11:00 AM
The City of East Providence Rhode Island is requesting proposals from highly qualified financial institutions for the purpose of obtaining a full range of depository and banking services at a competitive price. The period of the agreement shall be for the five year period beginning November 1, 2021 and ending October 31, 2026.
All proposals should be submitted with one (1) original, three (3) copies and one (1) electronic PDF on a flash drive in a sealed envelope, which should read: YOUR COMPANY NAME plainly marked on the exterior of the envelope as well as “RFP 20/21-25 Banking Services.” Proposals will be accepted by the Controller’s Office, Attn: Dawn Kenney, Procurement Specialist, Room 103, East Providence City Hall, 145 Taunton Avenue, East Providence, RI 02914 no later than Thursday, September 30, 2021

at 11:00 AM. The bids will be publicly recorded. Bids received with a time of 11:01 AM or later will be rejected.
Questions regarding this RFP will only be accepted in writing and sent to Dawn Kenney, Procurement Specialist
dkenney@eastprovidenceri.gov. All written questions must be received by Monday, September 20, 2021 at 3:00 PM. The answers to questions received will be answered on an issued addendum and posted to the City’s website as well as emailed to the potential bidding vendors who have sent their Electronic Bid Notification Form.
The City reserves the right to award in part or full and to increase or decrease quantities in the best interest of the City.
Any quantity reference in the proposal specifications are estimates only, and do not represent a commitment on the part of the City of East Providence to any level of billing activity. It is understood and agreed that the agreement will cover the actual quantities ordered during the contract period.
The City reserves the right to rescind award for non-compliance to proposal specifications.
The successful bidder must adhere to all City, State and Federal Laws, where applicable.
