Summary DetailsSummary: Through this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the City of Merritt (the “City”) invites Proposals from suitability qualified steel structure fabricators or contractors, interested in performing a project to supply and install as set of steel exterior stairs plus associated footing and coating works.Full details of the Work required is provided in Divisions 1, plus Exhibit A of this RFP. A summary of the Work is as follows:Location: The Place of the Work is the exterior of the Merritt Curling Club Arena, 2075 Mamette St, Merritt, BC.Contract Time: The following are key milestone dates required for the Work:• The City anticipates executing a contract with the Contractor no later than July 28, 2023• The Work must be complete and Ready-For-Takeover no later than: September 29, 2023Form of Contract: The Form of Contract to be executed between the City and the Contractor for the Work will be the CCDC2 – 2020 Stipulated Price Contract, as modified by Supplementary Conditions.
