Natural Gas Utility Service for FCI Aliceville

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, TX intends to make a single award for the provision of natural gas transportation utility services for inmates at the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Aliceville, AL. The contractor must have the ability to provide the entire natural gas transportation requirement, either by constructing a new line or utilizing the line currently in place upon consent of the current owner. The BOP may provide site maps, metering locations, existing pipeline locations, etc… upon request.  Upon request, the BOP may arrange a site visit. Please submit all request in writing to the Contracting Officer. Any information provided to one offeror will be provided to all via this website as an attachment to the existing solicitation. Offerors should monitor this site in order to receive such information. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 221210

(Size Standard: 1,000 employees). All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database under NAICS Code 221210.  The website for registration is www.ccr.gov.  The contract periods will consist of up to a 120-month period with an estimated maximum of 146,000 MCF per year as more fully described in the Statement of Requirement attached to the solicitation.  The solicitation will be available on/about February 19, 2021 and will be distributed solely through this website.  Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available.   The website provides downloading instructions to obtain all documents relating to this solicitation.  All future information concerning this acquisition, including the solicitation and any subsequent amendments, will be distributed through the website.  Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition.
