Notice to Bidders: Qualified bidders may submit bids for project as described in this Document. Submit bids according to the Instructions to Bidders. B. Project Identification: Bound Brook Pool Renovations Phase 1 1. Project Location: 200 Thompson Ave, Bound Brook, NJ 08805 C. Owner: Borough of Bound Brook, NJ 1. Owner's Representative: Dale Leubner, Director of Public Works D. Architect: Brandstetter Carroll Inc. 2360 Chauvin Dr, Lexington Ky 40517 E. Project Description: Phase 1 of the Renovation includes the re-construction of the main pool, renovation of the baby pool, addition to the pool mechanical building for new pumps and new pool deck. F. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. General Contract (all trades). 1.2 BID SUBMITTAL AND OPENING A. Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids
until the bid time and date at the location given below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows: 1. Issuance of RFB: July 17th, 2023 2. Deadline for Receipt of Written Questions: July 24th, 2023 3. Response to Written Questions: July 28th, 2023 4. Receipt of Bids (2:00 p.m. prevailing time): August 8th,2023 1.3 BID SECURITY A. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5% percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. 1.4 PREBID MEETING A. Prebid Meeting: A Prebid meeting for all bidders will be held at the project site at 10:00 AM, Eastern Standard Time on July 21st, 2023. Prospective prime bidders are encouraged to attend. 1. Bidders' Questions: Architect will provide responses at Prebid conference to bidders' questions received up to two (2) business days prior to conference.
