The National Park Service (NPS), Cape Hatteras National Seashore, is issuing combined sol/synopsis to Replace roofs on Ocracoke Discovery Center and Comfort Station. The Ocracoke Island Discovery Center and comfort station are located at 38 Irvin Garrish Hwy, Ocracoke, NC 27960. Ocracoke is only accessible via a ferry and the schedule changes based on season.TYPE OF CONTRACT: Firm Fixed Price100% small business set-aside procurement.The NAICS 238160, Roofing Contractors $19MIn accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement is estimated to be between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.Period of Performance - 90 days from NTP approx. 9/15/2024 to 4/15/2024SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system. Award cannot be made

until the contractor has registered. Interested Offerors are encouraged to ensure that they are registered in SAM prior to submitting their quote. THESE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE COMPLETED BEFORE TIME OF AWARD.Optional Site Visit: Scheduled for Tuesday March 26, 2024, at 10:30am on-site. The Ocracoke Island Discovery Center and comfort station are located at 38 Irvin Garrish Hwy, Ocracoke, NC 27960. Ocracoke is only accessible via a ferry and the schedule changes based on season. It is very important to advise all contractors that they will need to be at the ferry early - it takes about an hour and 1⁄2 to ride the ferry to get to Ocracoke. The NPS recommends using the Hatteras Terminal Location to get on the ferry to Ocracoke.
