distribution and merchandising of all carbonated and non-carbonated nonalcoholic beverages, including flavored and unflavored packaged waters, canned or bottled fruit juices, fruit juice-containing drinks and fruit-flavored drinks, hypertonic, hypotonic and energy and fluid replacement drinks or sports drinks ("Sports Drinks"). This program will include exclusive fountain beverage pouring rights and exclusive provision of all bottled, canned, and vended beverage products in a relationship that will be referred to as the Beverage Partnership, for all locations on the Missoula campuses of the University of Montana; with the exception of: dairy and dairy-substitute products, Red Bull products in specific store locations only, kombucha products, Lotus products, sustainable (aluminum can) waters, local Montana beverages, and fountain juices/beverages marketed under a University of Montana label; beverage vending equipment owned and operated by individual University departments; construction site vending; private party leased sites, including, but not limited to, events where beverages are not vended; plus events taking place anywhere on campus having third party beverage vending or provision contractual rights. The campuses located at The University of Montana- Western in Dillon, and Helena College are not included in this RFP. All existing contracts for like services and products will remain in effect for the base period of the existing contract and then transfer to coverage by the contract resulting from this RFP.
