Downtown Alleyways Improvement Project

Update 8/9/18: Addendum 1 is attached below. It adds an additional item to the RFB and answers questions received. 
Pursuant to Section 143-131 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, sealed proposals for the Downtown Alleyways Improvement Project (the “Project") to be furnished to the Town of Chapel Hill, N.C. will be received by Zakia Alam, Purchasing and Contracts Manager, Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Chapel Hill, N.C., until August 24, 2018 at 3:00pm. 
Prospective bidders may view the plans and specifications for the proposed project on the Town of Chapel Hill website ( www.townofchapelhill.org Click on “Businesses” menu, then “Bid Notices” option, then the name of this project). 
A pre-bid conference will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018
, at 10:00am in the Large Conference Room, at Chapel Hill Public Works Building Number 1, 6850 Millhouse Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27516. All potential bidders are hereby notified that attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged for bid submittal. 
The Project Manager for this project is Sarah Poulton, Town Manager’s Office, Town of Chapel Hill. All requests for interpretations related to this RFB must be submitted in writing to the Project Manager at
spoulton@townofchapelhill.org by 5:00pm on Friday, August 3, 2018. All responses to timely submitted requests for interpretations will be published in the form of an addendum on the Town’s website on Thursday, August 9, 2018.
