This is a request for Information ONLY.The Army is expanding the information considered and used in personnel decision-making beyond records of performance and potential. This talent-centric approach relies upon the existence of talent data, derived from standardized assessment tools and techniques. However, data production is only half of the challenge, as the Army must then determine how to interpret and use the data to greatest effect. For example, Army Leaders receiving data from a self-development assessment may be more likely to reflect upon and internalize the feedback if they have a conversation with a certified coach about the results. The Army is investing in its leaders by providing the opportunity for Professional Executive and Formal Coaching when performed in conjunction with and informed by validated talent assessment instruments that examines and evaluates emotional and social strengths and weaknesses. Interpretation of these assessment results and follow-on Professional Executive and Formal Coaching shall be from an International Coaching Federation (ICF) trained and credentialed Coach.Coaches must be ICF trained and credentialed. Coaches must be able to work with clients situated globally and abide by ICF ethical standards and competencies. Coaches must allow the Government to optimize coaching usage rates and metric measurements of the services provided in order to ensure the Government can maximize and monitor coaching usage and value of the coaching service
