These services may include engineering design and/or inspection services for existing bridge or highway structure repair or replacement, structural inspections and analysis of support connections and support structures for traffic devices, and load ratings of highway structures and bridges.The objective of this RFP is to request proposals from qualified consultants capable of conducting a comprehensive structural assessment encompassing a range of urban infrastructure elements critical to the safety and reliability of the City's transportation network. Unless otherwise stated, the term “traffic devices” shall refer to any or all of the following structures, including connections: signal support structures, overhead span sign structures, cantilever sign structures, butterfly sign structures, bridgemounted sign structures, high mast lighting structures, luminaries, and miscellaneous structures such as, but not limited to closed circuit TV structures.The City at their option may negotiate with any of the short-listed consultants for single or multiple project services.
