Economic Development Associate

POSITION SUMMARY Provides professional level assistance to the Department of Economic Development in the creation and implementation of economic development strategies to attract and grow businesses that enhance economic resilience and quality of life in the City of Stonecrest. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public administration, marketing, business administration, or a related field. Three years of progressively responsible experience in economic development, commercial real estate, public administration, or community development, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Certificates, Licenses and Registrations Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities OTHER REQUIREMENTS May work an adjusted schedule for assisting in events occurring after 5:00 p.m. and weekends such as meetings, or planned events.
