Notification of the SEC’s intent to award a sole source contract for subscription to U.S. and International accounting publications

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a fixed-price contract on a sole source basis to CCH Incorporated for subscription to online accounting publications using the procedures of FAR Part 13.501(a). The SEC requires electronic subscription to an extensive collection of U.S. and international accounting and auditing publications, including publications of accounting standards boards and regulators, as well as interpretive guidance, proposal stage publications, and practice aid materials. CCH Incorporated is the only source that can meet the SEC’s requirement because many of the required publications are proprietary content of CCH and not available from any other sources. The total estimated value of the contract is below the dollar threshold in FAR 13.5 for the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The anticipated period of performance of the contract is a Base Period of 12 months and four Option Periods of 12 months each. The SEC anticipates awarding a contract to CCH Incorporated on or about March 30th, 2023.This notice is not a competitive request for proposals. A competitive solicitation will not be issued.
