Career and Employment Services – Contracted CEIS Storefront Services: Rural North Alberta Project Description :Alberta Seniors, Community and Social Services (SCSS) is seeking proposals for the delivery of Contracted CEIS Storefront Services (Storefront) -- formerly known as Career and Employment Resource Centres “CERCs”) -- in several rural communities in Alberta. Each community listed below will have a full-time operating walk-in centre. The services should be responsive to the current labour market demands and should be designed to assist Albertans meet their career and employment needs. A Storefront is an element of Career and Employment Information Services (CEIS) and serves as a point of entry for individuals to access career resources, information services, and employment supports. It is anticipated that up to 10 (ten) Contracts will be awarded. The anticipated duration of services will be from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2025. The Province may extend the Contract, under the
same terms and conditions, for an additional term of up to 24 additional months of active services. By providing services in Fairview, Falher, Fox Creek, Grande Cache, Jasper, Lacombe, La Crete, Manning, Valleyview, and Wabasca, Albertans in many remote and underserved parts of Alberta will be provided with equal opportunities that non-rural job seekers can receive, without removing from their support systems Payment of contracted services will be on a fixed fee basis. Proposals are to be prepared according to the Request for Proposals (RFP) - Reference Document and Submission Package. The RFP must be obtained from the APC Tendering System. Questions or concerns must be communicated in writing to the Contracting Manager at least three (3) Business Days prior to the RFP’s Closing Date and Time. Questions received after this time will be answered if, in the opinion of the Province, time permits. Verbal responses to enquiries are not binding on any party.
