Request for Proposals may be submitted in person, by mail or electronically. By submitting your response and providing an Electronic Signature in accordance and agreement with the policies and ordinances of the City of Carrollton, you certify that you are authorized to represent and bind your company. Please see Attribute #6, Electronic Signature, and the response required. We highly recommend bid proposals be submitted electronically, via IonWave, as this is beneficial to the vendors to insure a complete proposal is submitted. Paper bids can be accepted by the close date and time
listed in this bid event. Documents must reflect the RFP name and number RFP #23-002 Above Ground Fuel Storage Tank All responders must submit a Bid Bond on the city form or bonding company's bid bond form based on 5% of respondent’s bid total. Jackson Road Carrollton, Texas 75006-1790 until the close date and time listed above in this bid event; at which time proposals duly delivered and submitted will be considered. The winning bid will be required to submit a payment and performance bond, using the city of Carrollton's required bond forms within 14 days of award. Information on the bid process/procedures may be obtained from the City of Carrollton's Purchasing Department, purchasing@cityofcarrollton.com . All Construction activities must comply with the North Central Texas Council of Governments Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction and the current City of Carrollton General Design Standards. Contractor must obtain copies of the latest City General Design Standards and Specifications from the City of Carrollton’s Engineering Department located on the 1st floor of the City Hall building located at 1945 E. Jackson Road, Carrollton, Texas 75006 for a cost of $25.00. However, copies can be downloaded for free by visiting here: General Design Standards Bidders shall have performed similar scope of work within the past three years. Bidders are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves regarding local conditions and conditions under which the work is to be done. Attention is called to the provisions of the Acts of the 43 rd Legislature of the State of Texas and subsequent amendments concerning the wage scale and payment of prevailing wages specified. Prevailing wage rate will be established by the City of Carrollton for this project. All bidders must comply with the rules and regulations for the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. CONDITIONS OF SITE AND WORK Bidders should carefully examine the Specification and other documents, visit the site of the work (if provided), and fully inform themselves as to all conditions and matters which can in any way affect the work or costs thereof. Should a Bidder find discrepancies in, or omissions from the drawings, specifications or other Contract Documents, or should Bidder be in doubt as to the meaning and intent, Bidder should notify the city at once and obtain clarification prior to submitting a bid. The submission of a bid by Bidder shall be conclusive evidence that the Bidder is fully acquainted and satisfied as to the character, quality and quantity of work to be performed and materials to be furnished.
