END OF UPDATE The County of Sonoma is pleased to invite you to respond to a Bid for Tank and Sewer maintenance/repairs and related services on an "if, and as needed" basis to provide services to multiple locations throughout the County. The County of Sonoma (hereafter “County”), is soliciting this request for bids from a licensed contractor(s) for water tank, sewer and related maintenance and repairs in order to establish Blanket Purchase Order Agreement(s) as described in Attachment A - Sample scope of work consisting of
one (1) page. The County intends to award two separate Blanket Purchase Order agreement on an if and as needed basis. The non disaster agreement shall be awarded taking into consideration local bidder preference. A second disaster agreement shall be awarded without local preference being considered in compliance with federal acquisition regulations. The disaster agreement shall be utilized in the event of a declared disaster. This sample scope of work is to provide possible service requests that may be requested. Service requests are not limited to just the described services and locations. The successful Contractor shall hold a valid State of California C-36 Plumbing Contractor license and be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Please include your CA Contractor’s license number, the type, and your DIR number in your proposal response. Blanket Purchase Order (BPO) agreement(s) will be issued by the County to the successful bidder(s) for the proposed contract period. The successful bidder will be required to comply with the terms and conditions of the county. Agreements will be on an if and as needed basis, no minimum or maximum usage is implied or guaranteed. The resulting agreement(s) shall be for a term of one (1) year, and the County may elect to extend the contract for up to four (4) additional one-year periods for a total of five (5) years. The County reserve the right to multiple award if it be determined to be in the best interest of the County. Please submit the following attached fully loaded hourly rates on Attachment B - Price Sheet with your completed bid. Any cost not identified in your bid submission shall not be added after award. Any resulting agreement shall be subject to The County of Sonoma Insurance Requirements per attached Exhibit B - Insurance Template. Federal Provisions. The resulting County Agreement(s) may be funded in part or entirely by financial assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Required provisions for contracts funded by such federal assistance are listed in Appendix II to Part 200 of Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations and are attached hereto as Exhibit [A], incorporated herein by reference. In accordance with federal provisions the County's local preference will not be considered in the award of it's agreement(s) resulting from this solicitation.
