The small power unit provides engine starting electrical and/or hydraulic power in the air or on the ground for system checkout of F100 engines. This is considered part of intermediate level maintenance testing. The F-15 aircraft is totally dependent on JFS for engine starting. The adapter kit includes a simulator and speed indication unit and junction box as a means to connect these units with a gage, thermocouple and cable assemblies.All items shall be stored in a carrying case to avoid damage.It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 29 May 2019.The RFP will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities webpage (http://www.fbo.gov/ ).NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED.The technical data required to respond to the RFP may be obtained at the same website.
