ADA-09243 Proposal to Extend a State Airport Land Lease at Birchwood Airport

The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to extend Lease ADA-09243 (Lot 1D, Block 100), consisting of approximately 29,700 square feet, at Birchwood Airport for an additional five years. Applicant: Debra J. and Bradley S. Bartlett. Annual rent: $3,207.60 and any other associated fees. Authorized uses: Aeronautical – operation and maintenance of aircraft hangar for private and commercial use; aircraft maintenance and repair; aircraft and vehicle parking; fueling of lessee’s aircraft only; and subleasing to individuals and businesses for the same use.This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed lease term extension without competition.
