Project: RFP Municipal Budget Software Ref. #: 2022-05-31 RFP Municipal Budget Software Type: RFP Status: Open Open Date: May 31st 2022, 9:00 AM EDT Questions Due Date: Jun 20th 2022, 9:00 AM EDT Close Date: Jun 30th 2022, 2:00 PM EDT Days Left: 2 Project Description:CRCOG, on behalf of its municipalities, seeks proposals from qualified and experienced vendors to provide cloud-based (preferred) budgeting software or on-premises to improve efficiency of its current budgeting process to serve citizens and staff. The software solution is expected to integrate with the municipalities’ current accounting software (Munis or other) and have the ability to create a budget publication that can be formatted to meet the requirements of the Governmental Finance Officers Association Distinguished Budget Award guidelines. The budget publication will also be used to communicate the individual municipality/town’s municipal budget in an easy-to-understand format and content including graphics, charts,

and tables. The software is expected to be user-friendly, delivering maximum benefits, and easy-to-input data and to manage and retrieve information for budget analysis, decision-making, reporting and document archiving, and meet the requirements specified in the Scope of Work within this Request for Proposals (RFP). An award will be made to the vendor that demonstrates experience and expertise in designing and conducting the training, proposes reasonable fees, and meets the requirements of this RFP. It is CRCOG’s intent to award a contract for a 3-year term, with options for additional extensions. CRCOG will hold the master contract and CRPC members will participate in the program via member side letters (Appendix A).
