LINCOLN COUNTY ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FIELD OPERATIONS CENTER PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT   Lincoln County is soliciting Formal Sealed Bids for RFB 2022-0505 FIELD OPERATIONS CENTER PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT  from qualified contractors to perform pavement and stormwater improvements. Bids will be received at the location listed below until the date and time listed: LINCOLN COUNTY MANAGER’S OFFICE C/O JOHN HENRY PURCHASING AGENT 353 N. GENERALS BLVD. PO BOX 738 LINCOLNTON, NC 28092 Phone: 704-736-8478  E-mail:  jhenry@lincolncounty.org 1400 hrs., THURDAY, MAY 5, 2022 All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and plainly labeled on the outer most package  “RFB-2022-0505 FIELD OPERATIONS CENTER PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT”. The inside and outside package shall include the Contractor’s License Number.    The public opening and reading aloud of the

bids will be at 1400 hrs, on Thursday, May 5, 2022 in the Executive Conference Room, located at 353 N. Generals Blvd. in Lincolnton, NC 28092.   Project documents may be obtained from the Engineer, REI Engineers, electronically at no cost or may be purchased from the Engineers office, 1927 J.N. Pease Place, Suite 201, Charlotte, North Carolina 28262, at a nonrefundable cost of $50.00. A pre-bid   meeting to permit the Bidder to examine the project site, existing equipment installations and adjacent areas will be held at 1000 local time on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 435 Salem Church Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092. All clarifications, answers to questions and changes made to the RFB will be responded to by written addendum. The addendum will be posted on the County’s Website on or before 1400 hrs, Monday, May 2, 2022.     Lincoln County reserves the right to reject all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, and to cancel the Bid Process at any time.
