The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to solicit proposals from qualified bidders for the delivery of services to establish, expand, and evaluate local community-based child abuse prevention projects for the Iowa Department of Human Services, pursuant to Iowa Code § 235A.1, Iowa Child Abuse Prevention Program or “ICAPP”, and United States Code § 42 U.S.C.
5166, Community-Based Grants for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect, also known as “CBCAP”. The Agency seeks qualified bidders to implement effective strategies to reduce the rate of child maltreatment in Iowa and to increase protective capacity for families at an increased risk of maltreatment. The successful bidder shall administer a comprehensive statewide program to include a continuum of primary and secondary prevention efforts.
