The facility is located at: 5501 6th Avenue, Tacoma, WA 98406The facility has a maximum bed capacity of 107 youth. However, the average daily population is less than 30 youth. The contractor is required to provide health care and screening services on a consistent basis, while arranging for back-up coverage in the event of sickness or vacations by the contractor.BackgroundPierce County Juvenile Court has exclusive jurisdiction over those juveniles within Pierce County who violate the criminal laws of this State or who need protection and/or advocacy as a result of abuse, neglect, or abandonment.
