SummaryThe City of Hollywood, Florida (City) is seeking bids from qualified and experienced contractors hereinafter referred to as the Contractor or Bidder, to provide Repairs and Maintenance for City Facilities, Roadways and Streets for the City, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation. Responses to this solicitation are due by September 21, 2023 , by 3:00 PM EST, and will be opened in a virtual public setting on September 21, 2023, at 3:00 PM EST at https:opengov.com/.1.2. BackgroundThe City of Hollywood has 85 buildings and 31 miles of roadways and streets that are in constant need of maintenance and repair. For this reason, the City is seeking qualified contractors/bidders to assist and maintain these assets on an as needed basis. The project is generally described as a maintenance and repair for

City facilities, streets and roads to include, but not be limited to: electrical, plumbing for both indoors and outdoors, as well as road and street maintenance and repairs, concrete work as well as irrigation systems and planting. Unit pricing will be established in the bid to allow the City to contract for repair and maintenance work on an as-needed basis. It is the responsibility of the contractors to bid just on their area of expertise. The Work involved with the Project shall include, but may not be limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, machinery, superintendence, mobilization and services necessary for the repair and maintenance of City roads, streets, and facilities on an as-needed basis.1.3.
