1. Overview:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI), in support of the Combat Capabilities Development Command’s (DEVCOM) Armaments Center, has a requirement for the procurement of a complete MasterCAM software package to support hybrid metal additive manufacturing operations, including: Full 3D machining, Multi-Axis Add On, Post Processor, Machine Simulation, APlus Add-On, and Training. This is a sole source procurement, set aside to a small business operating under NAICS 511210.  The size standard for NAICS 511210 is $41.5 million.                 2. The U.S. Government intends to award a firm fixed-price contract to the responsive and responsible contractor with the lowest priced offer, determined to be fair and reasonable, which meets the terms and conditions to include the delivery schedule.6.  Shipping:6.1. Vendors are to ensure that the shipping method allows for the ability to track items to their final destination.6.2. FOB is DESTINATION.6.3. The contractor is required to use WAWF-RA when processing invoices and receiving reports under this procurement action. Submission of hard copy DD250/invoices will no longer be accepted. The contractor shall register to use WAWF at https://wawf.eb.mil. There is no charge to use WAWF.
