A1150-08 COMPREHENSIVE RENOVATION AND RESTORATION EXECUTIVE STATE HOUSE CCE $183,000,000 The State of New Jersey has committed to a comprehensive renovation of the Executive State House including, but not limited to, exterior envelope restoration and repairs, addressing water infiltration issues, selective demolition work, life safety issues, HVAC improvements, hazardous materials removal, etc. This comprehensive renovation and restoration shall adhere to all of the guidelines required by the New Jersey State Historic Preservation Office and the Secretary of the Interior for a Monumental Building of National Significance. The State of New Jersey, Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) is soliciting evidence of interest, classification and special pre-qualification from CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AS CONSTRUCTOR
(C006) OR GENERAL CONSTRUCTION (C008) OR HISTORICAL RESTORATION (C024) contractors with significant experience in renovation and restoration of Monumental Buildings of National Significance. Contractors must be classified with the DPMC in Construction Manager as Constructor (C006) or General Construction (C008) or Historical Restoration (C024) in order to be considered for Special Prequalification for Project A1150-08. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 17:19-2.10, special selection criteria for pre-qualification is required in addition to the standard DPMC classification for CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AS CONSTRUCTOR (C006) OR GENERAL CONSTRUCTION (C008) OR HISTORICAL RESTORATION (C024). Contractors receiving classification and pre-qualification for Project A1150-08 will be considered Project Qualified Contractors and will be eligible to bid as the Prime Contractor. The contractor must have experience in the historic renovation and restoration of Monumental Buildings of National Significance.
