White House Medical Unit IO Project

Notice of Intent: The US Army Corps of Engineers - Little Rock District intends to award a sole source procurement to the following contractor:GoEnergistics, LLC2101 Cedar Springs Rd, SUITE 1050Dallas, TX, 75201They are the only Initial Outfitting Contractor with special security clearance from the US Secret Service to work on the White House grounds. Pursuant to the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(l ) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, GoEnergistics will be awarded a contract. The award will be for initial outfitting commodities and transition services for The White House Medical Unit (WHMU) offices and clinics located in the Eisenhower Executive Building (EEOB) and White House Residence.Daily medical operations are critical to the medical operations center at The White House, and The White House patient care is currently behind schedule and the facilities are unusable without furniture, equipment, and other

initial outfitting commodities. The current facilities have been renovated and are ready for initial outfitting. In order for a contractor to work on The White House grounds, special security clearance must be granted from the US Secret Service. This is a lengthy process for new contract awards and new contractors. GoEnergistics is the only IO Contractor with the required clearance from the US Secret Service.The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract on or about April 1, 2019, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This Notice of Intent is not considered a Request for Quotation (RFQ) nor is it a Request for Proposals (RFP). No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.The Government will consider all responses received by March 5, 2019, by 2:00pm, central time. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
