National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Glenn Research Center (GRC) intends to issue a sole source extension to the Financial Analysis and Business Support Services-II (FABSS-II) contract. NASA/GRC intends to purchase the services from Wichita Tribal Enterprises, LLC (WTE). The current contractor will provide uninterrupted services without duplication of effort that would otherwise be incurred if GRC were to award to another source in the interim period. The FABSS-II contract supports the following requirements for NASA GRC’s mission: In the areas of specialized financial analysis, accounting, and business services to support its business operations at GRC. These services shall help improve operational efficiencies, systems, data integrity and support the implementation of Agency wide business initiatives. The extension is necessary as a follow-on contract is not anticipated to be awarded prior to the completion of the current contract. This extension is intended to
allow for the current contract to be initially extended by five-months with three additional one-month extension options for a total potential of up to 8 months of additional period of performance.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Kimberly Hill at
kimberly.y.hill@nasa.gov no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on August 1, 2022. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
