Life Tech HID 7500 Computer Upgrade

Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Gordon, GA intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract with Thermo Fisher Scientific, 180 Oyster Point Blvd, South San Francisco, CA 95080. The requirement is to provide Life Tech HID 7500 Computer Software Upgrade for Applied Biosystems Genetic Analyzers operated by the U.S Army Criminal Investigation Laboratory (USACIL). The software contain a computer that is customized to operates the system and is compatible with current software. The NAICS code is 334516. The authority for this noncompetitive award is 10 USC 2304(c) (1), Only One Responsible Source. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12.
