Custom High-Speed Cryogenic Probe Card

The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) seeks information on vendors that can provide a custom commercial high-speed cryogenic probe card with 40 ground signal pairs. The probe card must be able to operate from room temperature down to 4 Kelvin. The probe card must have 40 ground signal pairs that can operate from DC to 20 GHz and must match NIST’s custom pin/pad layout for a 5 mm x 5 mm chip and fit in the existing cryostat. The probe card must be high vacuum compatible and non-magnetic and must be smaller than 3 inches by 3 inches. Lastly, the probe card must have an opening of at least 3.5 mm x 3.5 mm and a maximum height from the device under test to the top of the probe card of less than 3.5 mm.Please review the attached Requirements and Specifications document for specific details to meet all Government requirements. NIST will use the results of this sources sought notice to determine whether to proceed on a sole source basis or competitively if it is determined that other vendors could potentially meet NIST’s needs.This requirement is assigned a NAICS code of 334515, Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals, with a small business size standard of 750 employees.Interested business organization that believe they can meet the requirements should submit electronic copies of their capability statement.
