The below requirement is being procured sole-source under simplified acquisition procedures as it is testing of software already on contract. GFEBS and GFEBS-SA provides multiple types of financial transactions and functional analysis and reporting capabilities that are accurate and timely to support Army and Department of Defense leader decisions, while ensuring compliance to meet the audit readiness. The Government has the requirement to upgrade both systems (GFEBS and GFEBS-SA), especially with the new release of SAP’s Enhancement Pack 8 (EHP8), through a two phased approach of analysis and implementation. The analysis phase is required to provide rapid prototyping, pilot study, and early return on investment to the product’s development lifecycle. The goal is to reduce operations and maintenance of custom code baselines while modernizing with newer SAP technologies. The landscape to be utilized for the analysis consists of multi-stacked SAP environments (e.g. Dev, QA, Staging and Production) across multiple IL4/IL6 Amazon Web cloud hosting infrastructure. The implementation effort is intended to be a phased approach of prototyping best practices for US Army GFEBS tailoring, then transitioning to regular sustainment activities for product update release cycles. Also, this tool will feed the scope of database migration to the newer HANA technologies by optimizing code and improve transactional response times for both end users and batch jobs.RequirementThis analysis task is to provide a greater understanding of the level of effort required to perform a EHP8 upgrade across both systems. The major tasks required are to analyze, modify, and convert legacy custom code into more modernized SAP technologies. These efficiencies will move data through entire system more quickly in the
