1 of 1 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID: CM2022-011B Sealed proposals will be received by Balfour Beatty/Holt Brothers-Dorothea Dix Park Gateway, JV for the new Dorothea Dix Park Gipson Play Plaza on October 4, 2022, at the Greg Poole, Jr. All Faiths Chapel located at 1030 Richardson Dr, Raleigh, NC 27603 and opened Publicly at 2:00 PM. The Bid Opening will be for the following Bid Packages: 2F-Fencing & Gates (Permanent), 10B-Signage, 26A-Electrical, 27A - Communications, Security& AV, 32B-Landscaping, Irrigation & Soils, 32C-Hardscapes-Site Pavers and Sidewalks, 32E-Stone Boulders, 32F-Site Furnishings, 33A-House of Many Porches. Early bids may be mailed, or hand delivered to the attention of Kyle Coyne, Assistant Project Manager or Jonte Harris, Project Manager, with project name noted on envelope no later than October 3, 2022, at 5:00 PM to office of Balfour Beatty Construction Company located at 406 S McDowell St #200, Raleigh, NC 27601. Bids will not be accepted from bidders that are not
pre-qualified. A Pre-Bid Meeting & HUB Outreach was held on August 9, 2022, at 11:00 AM virtually via Microsoft Teams. Bid Documents will be available August 30, 2022. The CMAR and City of Raleigh enthusiastically encourage participation by certified HUB/MBE/DBE firms and support efforts to ensure and promote opportunities for minority and women-owned business enterprises (MWBE). The MWBE Program advocates actions, which increase opportunities for historically underutilized businesses and promote diversity and inclusion in City of Raleigh contracting. The City has an aspirational goal of 15% of the total contract amount to be performed by MWBE businesses on construction and repair projects of $300,000 or more, and contracts of $100,000 or more that include any State funding. All bids shall satisfy requirements of NCGS 143-128.2. Information regarding the City of Raleigh’s MWBE program can be found at owned-business-enterprise-mwbe .
