Description: Separate sealed bids for furnishing of all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and appliances necessary for the construction of Dietz Road/CR 384 at SR 2/Battlefield Parkway Intersection Improvements will be received by the owner at the City of Fort Oglethorpe, 500 City Hall Drive, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742, until 2:00 p.m., local time, on Thursday, February 24, 2022, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The project consists of the following major elements: Adding turn lanes and associated traffic signal upgrades and all appurtenances for a complete installation. Copies of the Contract Documents and Specifications, including bidding documents and requirements and Contract Drawings may be examined at the offices of the Engineer, CTI Engineers, Inc., 1122 Riverfront Parkway, Chattanooga, TN 37402 (phone 423/267-7613, www.ctiengr.com). Copies may be obtained there upon payment of $250 for each set. This payment is not refundable. Bidders must be listed on Engineer's list of plan holders who have purchased the Contract Documents, Specifications, and Drawings. Engineer shall be provided with the following information: mailing address for U.S. Postal Service, physical delivery address, telephone number, contact person, and email address. A Bid Bond of 5% of the total project cost is to be included in the proposal package.
