ADVERTISEMENT FOR A/E REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Pursuant to § 41-16-72 of the Code of Alabama, as amended, the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR) seeks qualifications from qualified electrical engineers, electrical engineering firms, or electrical inspectors to provide annual marina electrical inspections at State Parks, as needed. Proposed Scope of Work: The services to be provided will include all necessary electrical inspections as required by the NFPA 303, and includes providing inspection reports, listing deficiencies, follow up inspections, if required, and other services as needed to meet the requirements of the NFPA 303. The term of the agreement will be for two years with the option to renew for an additional two years. Qualifications. The selection of an individual or entity will be based on the individual’s or entity’s experience and its capability to perform the work in a timely manner. In selecting the most qualified individual or entity, ADCNR will be guided by the Manual of Procedures, 2001 Edition, prepared by the Alabama Building Commission. Disclosure Statement. §41-16-82 of the Code of Alabama requires a disclosure statement to be completed and filed with all proposals, bids, contracts, or grant proposals submitted to the State of Alabama in excess of $5,000. Alabama Immigration Law. §31-13-9 of the Code of Alabama imposes conditions on the award of state contracts. Firms must agree to fully comply with the Beason-Hammon Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act. By signing any future contract, the contracting parties affirm, for the duration of the contract, that they will not violate federal immigration law or knowingly employ, hire for employment, or continue to employ an unauthorized alien within the State of Alabama.
