Intent to award single source - Base Telecommunications Service

This requirement is for base telecommunications services (BTS) in support of the McConnell Air Force Base (AFB), KS.NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE: The NAICS Code is 541519 - Other Computer Related Services. McConnell AFB, KS intends to award a single source requirements contract as authorized by AFFARS 5313.501 - 10 U.S.C. 2302b, Implementation of Simplified Acquisition Procedures (41 U.S.C. 1901), to Mainstream IP Solutions, Inc.In order to comply with FAR 5.207(c)(15), the reason for lack of competition is as follows: the limited time to re-procure this service due to AFIMSC's unexpected retraction of funds, causing this to be a sole source acquisition. The short 9-month PoP will allow for a proper, competitive acquisition in the near future.This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes or proposals. A determination by the Government for the competition of this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the

Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to the listed POCs no later than 12 December 2022 at 07:30 AM Central Standard Time. Only responses received by this date will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.Be advised that all correspondence sent via e-mail shall contain a subject line that reads “Notice of Intent SS – BTS”.
