Ku-Band Commercial Satellite Communications

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Telecommunications Information Systems Command (TISCOM) Contract Procurement Division (CPD) located at 7323 Telegraph Road, Alexandria VA, 22315, hereby formally announces the intent to award a firm-fixed price purchase order on a sole source basis to Segovia, Inc. dba Inmarsat Government, Inc. The contractor will be required to provide High-speed, Ku-Band, commercial satellite (COMSATCOM) airtime (bandwidth) compatible with existing COMSATCOM equipment installed on the U.S. Coast Guard Cutters as well as contingency communications assets. To include access for USCG-provided Multi-Protocol, Labeled-Switching (MPLS) routers to interface the contractor's satellite service with the USCG's unclassified private IP network (CGONE). This shall include active monitoring of Ku-Band communication links and terrestrial connections to the USCG's MPLS network, 24-hour support to USCG tier-two support personnel, and assistance with dynamic bandwidth allocation among Ku-Band
